I’m Chef Bryan Curley.
I started cooking so I could get out of doing chores in the backyard when I was 8.
Ever since then, life seems incomplete if I've got nothing to chop, poach, or sauté.
When I finished culinary school in 2005, the world of fine cuisine really opened up for me. I left home in San Diego, drawn to the fast-paced action of big-city restaurant work.
In San Francisco and New York City, I learned from talented chefs who were at the top of their game. They pushed and guided me along my journey from being a clueless 19-year old kid to a well-rounded professional.
Opening Seasoned Catering in 2015 was my shot to finally bring innovative techniques, flavors, and cooking styles to my own customers. When lockdowns shut down our special events in 2020, Seasoned Catering took on a new form as a "fresh meal delivery" service.
Today, whether I've cooked for a reception, private dinner, or just meal delivery, there's one thing I always look forward to seeing at the end - the smiling faces of my guests.

We'll arrange a time to talk over the phone, where we can chat and see if the service is a good fit for you.
Step 3:
You'll have a tasting at your house where you can sample some of my most popular dishes. I'll take your feedback and use it to craft a custom menu proposal. If you'd like to move forward, I'll set up the weekly schedule for service in your home.

What exactly does a personal chef service include?
As your personal chef, I plan your meals for the week and shop for ingredients. I spend 3-4 hours in your kitchen cooking your meals and cleaning up after.
How often can I expect you to come to my home?
The service is once per week, and takes 3-4 hours per session.
Can the meals be customized to my dietary restrictions or preferences?
Yes, that's one of the main differences between my personal chef service and my meal delivery service. Before beginning, we'll discuss your food preferences and dietary restrictions. I'll suggest menu items that I can cook to accommodate your needs.
What types of food can you cook?
Any types of meals can be planned. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, healthy snacks are all options. For an additional fee, private dinners and special event cooking is also available.
What is the cost of your service?
The cost is $75 per hour plus the cost of ingredients. The time required to craft your meals can vary by how many meals you'd like as well as how much variety you'd like.
How can I pay?
Cash is the accepted form of payment. Payment is due at the end of the service. Monthly payment can be arranged in advance.
Do you offer meal prep for multiple days, or is it just for the day of service?
Your meals will be prepared for the day of service and for the following 3-4 days. I'll store them in the refrigerator so they stay fresh.
What happens if I need to cancel a session?
There is no charge to cancel a weekly session, and re-scheduling is possible if I have availability. Please give at least 1 day notice in advance.
How do you ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients?
I personally inspect all of your ingredient for freshness before I buy them. Minimally-processed, organic ingredients are used whenever available, especially farmers market products.
Is there a menu I can choose from, or do you design everything from scratch?
Choose from my library of popular items that I've cooked over the last 10+ years, including meat, fish and vegetarian entrees, soups, salads, side dishes, sauces, and desserts. You can choose from these or ask me to create something unique for you.
Do you clean up after cooking, or is that left to the client?
Your kitchen will be cleaned immediately after your meals are cooked.
How do you manage portion sizes for different appetites or numbers of people?
Meals are portioned into single-serving containers in the amount you normally eat for one meal. Alternatively, I can leave the entire batch of a recipe in a family-sized container in your refrigerator.
Can you cater to guests if I'm hosting an event?
Yes, I have some availability to cater small events such as birthday parties, private dinners, or receptions. Fees may vary based on your menu and event size.
How are the prepared meals stored?
I can provide meal prep containers, or use your own containers if you prefer. I recommend storing the prepared meals in your refrigerator.
How can I re-heat the meals that are stored?
I recommend re-heating the meals in the microwave on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
Is there a fee for the initial tasting?
There is a non-refundable fee of $195 plus the cost of ingredients for your initial tasting. Ingredient cost ranges from $60-$100.
How do you handle feedback?
I'm always looking to improve the taste of the food and the overall service. If you're unhappy with any aspect of the service, please tell me about the issue and I will provide a replacement or refund your fees.
Do you require a contract or is it session by session?
There is no contract for the service, just a verbal agreement. Service can be cancelled any time.
Are there any additional services like wine pairing or table setting?
I'm happy to provide these if you'd like as part of your personal chef service.
